Family Memory Quilt

I have had a few request to post some pictures of the family memory quit that we have made for our family reunion (it still needs to be quilted but here it is). We will be raffling it of there. I had so much fun making this quilt that I am planning on making lots more in the future. It is so much fun looking through old pictures trying to decide which ones to use. I think that this quilt turned out beautiful if I do say so myself. I hope I win it!!

Idols in Concert

On Friday night we took the kids to the Idols in concert out at Tuacahn. We went with my mom & Clays sister & brother in law. We didn't even know what Idols were going to be singing when we bought the tickets, so I was a little leary taking the kidos to the concert, but I figured that we would give it a go. When we finally found out who was going to be singing, I thought that it might not be that bad after all. It turned out to be a great concert! The kids even liked it. Gina Glocksen, Melinda Doolittle, Chikezie, & Phil Stacey were the ones to preform. The weather looked like rain, but by the time the concert started, it was perfect. All in all we had a great time!
This was the kids waiting until the concert started, Kayden kept asking where they were going to start singing.

Dance Recital 2009

Kelsie had her dance recital on Saturday. She performed three dances...one hip-hop, and two jazz dances. She did a great job on all three dances. I just thought that I would post some of the better pictures that we took. It is so hard to get good pictures when the are moving around so fast. She loves to dance she is awesome at it for her age! Great job Kelsie we love you!
This is Kelsie & Macall after the dance recital.

Wow!... I know that I couldn't do this. She did a great job holding that leg up straight! I know that you can't really tell it from the picture though.

This was her hip hop dance. I wish I could dance half as good as her!

Her and Macall love having their pictures taken...What cute kids!

Hopefully I can get the video downloaded so you can see the dances for yourselves.
Way to go Kelsie...We love You!

Las Vegas...

The kids & I went with my mom down to Las Vegas for my cousin Steves 4oth Birthday. We went to the dinner show that is at the Excalibur. Let me just tell you that it is definitely worth the money. I was a little worried about taking Kayden, but to my surprise he sat wide eyed at the edge of his seat the whole two hours! Both of the kids loved the show! They wouldn't let us take pictures inside, but when the show was over a couple of maidens and a knight were outside taking pictures with everyone. My kids are a little on the shy side, so Kayden wasn't very happy that I made him go get his picture taken (as you can see from the picture). One of the maidens gave him a big kiss on the cheek! He wouldn't let me wash it off until the next morning when it was smeared all over his cheek! I would definitely recommend that show for anyone who is looking for a good family show to go to in Las Vegas!

Snow Days...

Who would have thought that in a million years we would see this much snow in St. George Utah...Well thanks to a freek storm, we got about four inches at our house! When school was canceled today the kids and I decided that we would go out and play in the snow. The kids loved playing in it, we even built a snow family!!! I sure liked the snow alot more when I was a kid...Kayden and Kelsie would have played out there until their fingers fell off! Im glad it only last a couple of days!
Here is our Snow Family!

Kelsie and her snowgirl.

Kayden and his snowboy.

The two of them playing in the snow!!

Family Pics...

I just wanted to post some of our pictures that we took the other day! I think they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. It was so cold outside, but my kids were surprisingly really good. Kayden got a little grumpy towards the end, so we only got a few of him. Here are just a few of my favorite ones! Thanks Justin and Kassidy for going and taking pictures!!!
My two cute kids!!

Kelsie loves to pose for pictures...notice her two missing front teeth!

Kayden was not to happy, but its still a cute picture!

Here is our happy little family!!!

Trick-or-Treating

So I'm a little late posting these pictures....well better late than never! My kids had so much fun Trick-or-Treating. Kayden wanted to wear his costume all day and he wouldn't even let me take off his dinosaur head either. Last year I had to fight him to even put on his costume....What a difference a year makes!! He had a huge smile all day long. He is such a sweet kid!

Here is Pirate Kelsie. I had to search and search for the fish net tights!!! What a cute pirate!!

Here they are waiting anxiously to go Trick-or-Treating!!

We took the ranger out and followed behind the kids. Sure beats walking!!

Kayden made it about three blocks before he crashed!! Thank goodness for the backseat in the ranger, it made a nice bed for him while the other kids kept on going.....and going.....and going!
