New Years Resolution

Wow...its been awhile since I have posted anything new...well you will be glad to know that my New Years Resolution is to keep this thing updated as often as I can! Hopefully I can keep this resolution!! New post soon to come!!

DisneyLand & the Beach

We made a trip down to California to Disneyland & the Beach right after school got out. It was the kids first time at Disneyland & boy did they have a ball!! Kayden was tall enough to go on all the rides excepts the Indiana Jones ride...I'm sure he would have been scared of that ride though cause he was terrified & a little reluctant to go on any roller coaster like rides after splash mountain ( you can tell by his eyes in the picture below he was terrified on that drop)! Kelsie was a little freaked out by some of the rides too but she went on them all (except for Space Mountain...we didn't want to wait in an hour long line)! They cant wait to go back!!

We had to get a family Picture with Tigger...he is my favorite!!

The Picture is not very clear, but Kayden's eyes tell it all!! Poor little guy...

We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!! Good weather & the longest line that we waited in was only about 20 min!! We are all looking forward to our next trip to California (sooner rather than later hopefully)!!

Spring Dance Recital

I told you I had a lot of catching up to do...this is Keslie's Spring Dance Recital! She preformed a Hip-Hop, Jazz & Lyrical routine. She did an amazing job!!! I on the other had didn't do so great in the picture taking...the were moving so fast that a lot of my pictures turned out blurry.

Not to mention the little incident that we had in the middle of the recital with Kayden. He was sitting on the floor of the auditorium because he can only sit still for so long...all of a sudden he got really still & started to cry. He preceded to tell me that he had just swallowed a penny & it was stuck in his throat. I started to panic & I just gave him a drink of my water to try to wash it down. The water did the trick! I called my brother to ask him if I should be worried, & he told me it should just come out the other end & as long as he was breathing okay he should be fine. We sat through the rest of the recital with no more problems luckily!!

Here is her Hip-Hop routine...the did a tribute to Michael Jackson...This was the only picture that wasn't blurry because they were moving so fast!

As you can see this one is a little blurry, but Kelsie did all of the lifts in the Jazz routine!

Here the girls are after their recital. They all did an awesome job!! We are very proud of all of them!! If I can figure out how to add video then I will try to post it so everyone can see what a great job they all did!

Catch up!!

Ya I know I have been a major slacker...but I'm going to try to keep this thing updated from now on!! It has been a year since i have blogged so here is a little update of what has been going on in our lives...

Clay got layed of from his job last April, but I'm glad to say that he has found another job. He is working at Pine View Middle School. Its not a dream job but it pays the bills & he likes the people he works with!!

Kelsie has been busy with dance & soccer. She does jazz, ballet, & hip hop. She is such a great dancer & keeps improving every day!

Kayden started preschool & is loving it. He wants to do hip-hop & soccer in the fall just like his big sister!

Me, well Ive just been busy being a mom! Lots of chasing kids around where they need to be & working on lots of quilts!! I am definitely blessed & couldn't ask for a better family!!

Summer Catchup....

Well I don't even know where to start....this summer has been so crazy!! We started out with a family reunion that my mom & I was in charge of. We had it up at cherry hill. We had quilts to do & all the fun stuff to plan for it. Thank goodness that is over and all went well. Then we headed up to Idaho Falls to spend the week of the 4th of July! We always go up there for the 4th. The kids had a ball hanging out with all of their cousins that they only get to see once or twice a year!

Kelsie & Kayden love to swim... when ever they have a chance the will take it...Thanks Stacie for letting us come & hang out!!

This is the kids at the 4th of July Parade that we go to every year! They have a ball watching all of the floats...especially the ones that throw candy out!

We just got a new trailer this year, we took it out to Quail lake to camp for the weekend a while ago. The kids had a ball...we have only used it that one time, but I'm sure we will use it a lot more soon! The kids wanted to go fishing so bad...We didn't catch anything, but they had fun...at least Kayden did. Kelsie was sick the last day & didn't have too much fun while we were fishing.

At least she felt good for the first to days! I'm glad we had a chance to spend some quality time together, with out the hustle & bustle of everyday crazy life. I'm sure there will be more camping trips to come!! Well that is only a few of the things that we have done this summer. I didn't want to overload you all in one post...more to come later!

Happy 3rd Birthday Kayden!

Wow...I cant believe that my little baby can go from this to...

This in three short years! He has gotten to be such a big boy...I just want him to know how much we all love him. He is for the most part the best little boy around (every kid has there moments). Happy birthday Kayden we love you!

We had a small family birthday party for him last week. We all went swimming down at Clays sisters pool. All of the kids had a ball. Thanks every one for coming & celebrating with us!

Congrats Bryce & Amy

We had the privilege of attending Clay's nephews wedding this weekend. It was a beautiful ceremony & reception. What a cute couple Bryce & Amy make. Congrats you two!!
