Snow Days...

Who would have thought that in a million years we would see this much snow in St. George Utah...Well thanks to a freek storm, we got about four inches at our house! When school was canceled today the kids and I decided that we would go out and play in the snow. The kids loved playing in it, we even built a snow family!!! I sure liked the snow alot more when I was a kid...Kayden and Kelsie would have played out there until their fingers fell off! Im glad it only last a couple of days!
Here is our Snow Family!

Kelsie and her snowgirl.

Kayden and his snowboy.

Family Pics...

I just wanted to post some of our pictures that we took the other day! I think they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. It was so cold outside, but my kids were surprisingly really good. Kayden got a little grumpy towards the end, so we only got a few of him. Here are just a few of my favorite ones! Thanks Justin and Kassidy for going and taking pictures!!!
My two cute kids!!

Kelsie loves to pose for pictures...notice her two missing front teeth!

Kayden was not to happy, but its still a cute picture!

Trick-or-Treating

So I'm a little late posting these pictures....well better late than never! My kids had so much fun Trick-or-Treating. Kayden wanted to wear his costume all day and he wouldn't even let me take off his dinosaur head either. Last year I had to fight him to even put on his costume....What a difference a year makes!! He had a huge smile all day long. He is such a sweet kid!

Here is Pirate Kelsie. I had to search and search for the fish net tights!!! What a cute pirate!!

Here they are waiting anxiously to go Trick-or-Treating!!

We took the ranger out and followed behind the kids. Sure beats walking!!

Kayden made it about three blocks before he crashed!! Thank goodness for the backseat in the ranger, it made a nice bed for him while the other kids kept on going.....and going.....and going!

Pumpkins

I know that I am really bad at keeping this updated, but it seems that all I have been doing lately is running around. All of my days are running into each other. We did however get together with Clays sister and her family to carve pumpkins. I forgot my camera while we were carving them, but did manage to take a few after we were done. The kids had a blast, Kayden wanted to do a cat and of course that was the hardest one ever to do. It is kind of hard to tell it is a cat, but he knows what it is and he loves it.
Here is Kelsie and her bat, she did almost all of it by herself!!!

Here is Kayden and his cat.

This is Clay's Spider. I decided that simple is better!

Kayden's kind of looks like a cat.

And finally Kelsie's bat. She did a great job!!

New Hair Cut!!

I went to Portland a couple of weekends ago, to a Fabric and Notions expo. Clay wasn't to excited about going, so he stayed home with the kids. It was a nice quite weekend with no kids. Thanks Clay!!! Anyways, while I was there I got a text from Clay with a picture of Kayden and his new hair cut!! A Mohawk!!! Clay said he just sat there and let him cut his hair. I couldn't believe that... usually I have to hold him down while Clay tries to cut it. When I got home I tried to get kayden to let me finish cutting it all off, but he said, "No mom, I like it." So the mohawk wins for now!!
I have to admit he does look pretty cute with it. I am a little bias though!

Weekend Fourwheeler Trip

Okay, so I'm a little late on this post, but life has been a little hectic lately. I thought that once school started things would calm down a little bit, but boy was I wrong! I have not been home on the weekends for about a month and a half. This weekend is the first that I will be home. This is how we spent Labor Day weekend. We went for a 80 mile four wheeler ride. I didn't think that it sounded very fun when we were planning it, but it was a blast!!! We bought a Ranger last year, and we have not been using it very much lately, but after this trip my kids want to go out every day. We had so much fun!!
This is Kelsie and Clays uncle Arnold. She loved riding on the back of his four wheeler!

The kids really love riding on the ranger, even when we almost rolled it down one of the steep hills that we were trying to climb up. I have never jumped out of something so fast!!

Kayden's smile never left his face. He loved riding with Grandpa Lister.

Otter Creek

Over the weekend, we went to Otter Creek to go fishing and just have a nice weekend away to just relax!! Saturday morning, we went fishing, and well the fishing wasn't so great. All we were catching were tiny small mouth bass. Well that is other than the rocks that Macall and I caught....Ya that's right ROCKS!!! We both reeled in rocks one right after the other!! :) We couldn't believe it either! Saturday night and Sunday morning however were lots better fishing. We all caught fish! We all had a blast and it was just nice to get away and relax!
Yes we really did catch rocks!! Here is the picture to prove it!!! We couldn't believe it either.
Kelsie looking silly while she waited to catch her fish!

Kelsie and one of the fish she caught!

Kayden trying to wait patiently for a fish to bite his hook!

Finally his waiting payed off! He caught the biggest one of the whole trip!

Family Reunion + Boat Races = 24 Hours of Driving!

We have been traveling a lot over the past two weeks. We went up to Springville the first weekend in August for my family reunion and then up to Idaho Falls the next weekend to watch my uncle and cousin race their boats on the Snake River! Who would have known that two kids in the car for 24 hours worth of driving would have gone so well! They were so good! Here are a few pictures from our trip!

Kayden and Kelsie got these guitars while we were up at the boat races, and they acted like they were playing them all day, it was so funny! :)

This is my cousin Steve racing his boat! Kayden loved watching the boats zoom by!!

This is my Kayden with Grandpa Snarr at our family Reunion. Grandpa is Kaydens best buddy!

A few random happenings.....

Okay, I think that after this post I will be caught up on my post. There has just been alot going on this summer that I haven't had time to catch my breath! I just found some more picture that I wanted to share, so bare with me.

Kelsie and Kayden love going to the park and playing especially the ones with water.

We also got together with Stacie Haslem and her kids while they were here visiting. The girls were all into having their pictures taken!

Just hanging out at the water park!

This was at Kelsie's Hip Hop recital!

Kayden was so funny dancing to the music! He also loved Kelsie's hat. He cant wait until next year when he can do hip hop too.

This is a still frame of the dance she did, I will have to see if i can download the video. The dance was so cute!

Here is another on of her dance!

This is Kelsie and my cousin Cori at the 4th of July Parade in Idaho Falls!

West Yellowstone

Yet another late post....Yes, one of these days I will be current on my post, but for now here are some of our pictures of our trip to West Yellowstone.
This was Kelsie and Macall at the Bear Discovery place up there. The girls got to go out and hide food for the bears to come out and find. Even though they were getting eaten alive by mosquito's they still had a ball!

This is one of the three bears that they let out after the kids hid all of their food. The girl were ready to leave after they hid their food because of the mosquito's, so we only got the one picture of them looking for the food.

I was a little disappointed because the only bears we saw where in the Discovery Center. We drove a round all day and not one bear out in the wild. However we did see plenty of Bison and Elk. Maybe one of these trips we will get to see one in the wild!

This was a picture of Yellowstone lake that we took as we were walking around some hot spots in the ground. The weather was so much nicer here than the 110 degrees that we were missing out on back here in St. George!
Kelsie, Kayden, Macee and Macall all look so excited when I took this picture. I think that they were all getting tired of all the driving that day.

This is a better picture of the four of them! It was much earlier in the day!

Kelsie, Macee and Macall posing for the camera!

This was a water fall that we drove by. Isn't it beautiful!!
